Mr. Schulting is a registered acupuncturist with decades of experience and brings diverse techniques in both traditional and modern treatment. He uses a range of tools in his treatments, including SCENAR and PEMF.

What is SCENAR?

SCENAR is a diagnostic and treatment device that interacts with the nervous system and is widely used for pain therapy in the medical community in Europe. Mr. Schulting has found it to be highly effective for many challenging, dual diagnosis, physical and mental health presentations.

What is PEMF?

When addressing complex injuries and speeding up cellular healing, particularly for nerve, deep tissue and bone, Michael uses PEMF (Pulsating Electro-Magnetic Field Therapy). This tool is used and recommended by NASA and many pain clinics in Europe and North America

Mr. Schulting also integrates education and understanding of stress-reducing tools, and can add meditation strategies as required to assist in post-treatment success at home.

As part of our treatment team, Mr. Schulting helps clients who wish to set goals to manage pain more effectively while reducing medications and their side-effects. He uses a holistic treatment approach to address multiple factors that can lead to improvements in overall physical and mental health.

Areas of Treatment:

  • chronic and acute pain
  • complex injury recovery
  • concussions and post-concussion syndrome
  • trauma and PTSD
  • anxiety and depression
  • addictions, including opioid addiction concurrent with chronic pain
  • many other physical conditions

Mr. Schulting is registered under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (#01775).
